Philipp Plein Black Crystal Skull Embellished Sweater

Buyers comfortable with the risk of loose embellishments should take this row. Anyone wanting a low-maintenance daily sweater must skip it.

Listings for embellished knitwear habitually omit close-up images of the crystal backing and the glue application method. For this row, those omissions are critical because the durability of the skull design depends entirely on how the crystals are secured to the black fabric. Without detailed macro shots, you cannot see if there is excess glue residue around the stones or if the attachment is loose. This high-priced item sits at the top end of the category range, making these details vital. Check the return policy and seller notes on LitBuy before purchasing.

Before this goes in a cart

• Close-up photograph of the crystal borders to inspect for glue residue
• Fabric tension around the embellished skull design to check for pulling
• Under-side of the embroidery to see how the crystals are anchored
